Fans Turn Cheering Into Its Own Sport
It's safe to say that the Seattle Seahawks are one team that doesn't need to be worried about the home field advantage. During their routing of the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, the noise from the crowd registered as a category-2 earthquake, which was recorded a block away from CenturyLink Field.
And they didn't just do it once. Experts recorded five separate times the fans managed to make seismic noise. The greatest disturbance occurred during the first quarter when defensive linemen Michael Bennett returned a Saints fumble for a 22-yard touchdown.
