"You have to be a descendant Nostradamus to know what we put in this week to be able to change that fast."
After the New England Patriots beat the Texans 34-31 in a close match-up, Texans DE Antonio Smith stirred up quite a bit of media attention after he kept alleging that something "fishy" was going on in how the Patriots offensive game plan matched up with the Texans defense. In fact, Smith also used the word "spying" although he was speaking with a grin during the interview.
Brady finished a decent 29-41 with 371 yards and 2 TD's and the Pats leading rusher, Lagarret Blount, racked up a mere 44 yards rushing.
For one, 34 points is not unusually high in the NFL and did Antonio Smith really expect that the Texans defense (who give up the 6th most points per game) had the game plan for Tom Brady this week? We'll just say that Mr. Smith got caught up in a little post-game emotion with those statement - but, hey, ESPN will gladly take the comments for their SC lineup.
