A lot can happen between the ages of 18 and 22 while in college. For many of us, we learn that high school relationships were silly and that there is a life beyond our hometown. However, when you play Division 1 college football, there is a different kind of transformation: a physical one.
A recently posted picture from Ohio State Linebacker Joshua Perry shows just how dramatic this transformation can be:
In just three years, Perry went from 222 to 253 - more than a 30 lb. gain - in what looks like pure muscle. Perhaps the most perplexing part of this change is the size of his trunk which seemed to almost double but without an ounce of fat.
The strength coach at Ohio State University for football is Mickey Marotti and I'm sure if you asked him how he did it, he would give a little credit to the training table because we all know you can't out exercise a bad diet.
Here's what Perry had to say:
"#TBT Man, I've come a long way... Didn't like that guy from the past, so I made a change. This isn't enough though so I've gotta keep swinging! We've got a strong looking team so stay tuned... #GoBucks #SilverBullets"
